Meet the Team
Kim Sundal, MSW, RSW
​Kim has been providing clinical counselling sessions for over 25 years with a focus on providing support to children, adolescents and their families. She has a BSW from University of Waterloo and MSW from University of Toronto. She has a passion for helping individuals, couples and families address any barriers to achieving their optimum mental health. She strives to listen, learn and guide her clients towards change. She is able to provide interventions"where her clients are at" by working together with them to understand the pros and cons of their thoughts, feelings and behaviours and the impact on the present situation, their relationships and their future. Kim brings a non-judgemental, open, honest and curious style to all of her sessions. She has experience providing counselling support in community mental health, hospital and school settings and is skilled in a number of evidenced informed interventions. She comes highly recommended by previous clients and her peers.
Marnie Teitlebaum, MSW, RSW
Marnie received a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Toronto in 2002. She has since been working as a clinical social worker for 20 years providing therapy and mental health support to children, adolescents and their families. Marnie has extensive experience working within the mental health system and has worked in a hospital mental health program, community based mental health agency as well as the school board system. Marnie’s therapeutic approach is tailored to the client’s unique individual needs. Marnie works from strengths based and systems approaches and uses therapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavioural therapy, solution focused therapy and narrative therapy. Marnie is also trained in suicide intervention. Marnie’s practice is grounded on building relationships with her clients in order to support and empower them in creating the change that they desire. Marnie offers a non-judgmental and safe environment where each client can share their personal journey.
